I have always been very close to my family, growing up we all spent a lot of time together. Me being the only girl, I had to learn to be rough and tumble from an early age to keep up with all of my boy cousins and brother. :) We would spend hours playing cops & robbers, hide-and-seek, freeze tag, Marco Polo and occasionally I would convince them to let me dress them up. Haha… No, Garrett, I am not going to post the evidence. ;) I know that I am a lucky girl to have been raised in a caring, loving family, having influence from so many amazing and strong-willed people, they have always given me strength when I needed it most. And my cousins, who have always felt more like my brothers, mean the world to me. To already see my children begin to form the same bonds with their cousins almost brings tears to my eyes. :)
When Garrett met Tristine, something changed. We could all see and feel it. With her, we knew it wasn’t a matter of if he would propose, it was a matter of when. They are the perfect compliments to each other, she makes him a better man and he makes her a better woman. I cannot begin to express the joy I feel in knowing that so much love has been brought into Garrett’s life, all thanks to Tristine and little miss Hailey. (On a side-note, Happy Birthday, Hailey!!)
We are so excited to officially have you as part of our family! Tristine, I know you will take great care of him and I can’t wait for your family to grow- no pressure… ;) We are so honored that you asked us to preserve your day, it means the world to both Jeff and I and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of it. Thank you!! We love you guys so much and are always here for you. We hope you love your pictures!!
During the engagement shoot, we also took the time to get some pictures with Hailey Grace. :)
