So, if you’ve been tuning in these past few days, you know that this has been a week about inspiration and personal growth. I entered 2011 feeling different. But in a good way. Things have been changing for me and my business in ways I never dreamed possible- but always hoped would happen. This is the year where great things will happen. I can just feel it. And to say that I am excited about it, wouldn’t even scratch the surface of what I am truly feeling. This is my first venture to WPPI, something I have been craving for years now. The very idea of being surrounded by so many people who share a love for photography is so exciting to me!
When I saw Justin & Mary’s post about the workshop they are hosting at WPPI, I literally screamed. In this week of internal exploration and dream catching, I have set many goals for myself. While I know some are outlandish, I refuse to believe that they are unobtainable. On my list of 101 Things to do in 1001 Days was, in fact: Meet Justin & Mary Marantz. No joke, readers. :) Justin & Mary are two people who inspire me in so many ways to be a better photographer- and a better person. They are genuine, caring, authentic people who not only share a passion for photography, but also for each other. How rad is that?
Justin & Mary- If I had the opportunity to learn from you and shoot beside you, it would be a dream come true. You have inspired me in so many ways, countless really. I not only admire what you do, I respect it. I would be so thrilled and honored if you chose me and I am 100% committed to being there! I will be hoping and praying to be one of the lucky chosen few. Oh! And I will also be in your 9am class on “How to Be a Rainmaker” on Thursday, Feb. 24th at WPPI- I can’t wait! Thank you!
And because every post is a little better when there is something pretty to look at, I hope you enjoy one of my favorite pictures from our recent trip to Maui. Enjoy!
