::Justin & Mary Marantz Workshop:: Oregon Wedding & Lifestyle Photographer

WPPI was a blur.  No joke.  But in a good way.  :)  Our days were packed full with classes and meet-ups, photo shoots, long dinners with friends, and lots of sight seeing.  I absolutely love Vegas, I love it’s fast pace, the amazing hotels, the fact that there is always something going on, and above all else, I am in love with Bellagio fountains- I could watch them countless hours.  :)  Yes, yes, Vegas is pure awesome.

I have wanted to attend WPPI for about 4 years now.  It was more than I could ever hoped or dreamed it would be.  Meeting so many amazing photographers and connecting with so many I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the past few years was absolutely amazing.  I also had the pleasure of sharing in the experience with my amazing hubby, who has been nothing but loving and supportive of my photography ventures.  It was only fitting that he be at my side through it all.  :)  We can’t wait for next year!!

One of the highlights of my trip was being chosen by Justin & Mary Marantz to attend their fabulous workshop!  To say that I was excited would be the understatement of the year- I was beside myself!  Although it was in the wee hours of the morning, it was sooooooo worth waking up at 5am for!  :)  Justin & Mary are truly amazing!  I have followed their work for a few years now.  I can remember the first time Mary commented on my blog- I about fell out of my chair!  :)  I am totally drawn to their authentic story-telling and timeless, romantic, pure photography.  It is stunning!  Justin & Mary are like a breath of fresh air.  The time and care they take with their clients- as well as with other photographers is absolutely awe-inspiring.  Spending those few hours with them made me think about my photography differently.  And I like it.

Justin, Mary & Julia, I can’t thank you enough for the amazing opportunity you gave to me and the other 19 photographers.  I am so humbled by your kindness and willingness to share your knowledge with us.  Thank you a million times over!  :)  I can’t wait to see you all again!  I also want to add that Ashley & Jeremy, our models for the workshop, were absolutely amazing!  I can honestly say that I don’t think I have worked with a more adorable couple in my life!  :)  Every time Ashley smiled, I couldn’t help but smile, too.  So cute!!

Here are a few of my favorite images from the workshop.  The first two are of Mary rockin’ the shoot!  :)

The image below is one of my favorites!  They were actually waiting to be posed and I happened to see them both standing like this.  I LOVE this pic!!

Seriously, can you two be any cuter? :)

I also had to snag a pic with Julia, Mary & Justin.  You guys ROCK!!
