New Year, New Goals

Happy New Years Goals by Holli True

Happy New Year, friends! If you’re like me, you’re still recovering from 2017. Truth is, 2017 kicked my butt- in good ways and bad. It was a literal rollercoaster. Highs, lows, loops and curves. At times I felt exhilarated, excited and free. Other times I felt scared, uncertain and ready for the ride to be over. On the business side of things, 2017 was absolutely beautiful. On the personal side, we faced a major health-scare with my grandma, as she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer over summer. As you can imagine, this turned our world upside-down and took such an emotional toll on our family. I am so happy to report that my grandma is now cancer-free and getting back to being the stubborn, sports-loving, card-playing little spitfire she has always been. :)

I spent a lot of time thinking about 2018 and what I want this year to look like. Last year, the word I focused on was CONNECTION. I loved that word. I love where it lead me and what it inspired in my life and business. I felt truly connected with my family, my friends and my clients. Staying focused on connecting allowed me to build new relationships with some incredible people, mend relationships that needed some TLC and become more present with my family and friends.

For 2018, my word is GROWTH. I changed a lot of things in 2017, but I know that I’ve only scratched the surface. I’m ready to grow leaps and bounds from where I am today. With my family, as we navigate our way through the new roads ahead and the reality that in just four short years, our son will be a senior in high school, with our daughter right at his heels. I want to seek growth spiritually. In my business, with my photography, with the connections I’ve made and my evolving style that is beginning to shine-through. Growth in the educational side of my business with retreats, shootouts and new products.
