I don’t think it is humanly possible to be more excited than I am right now! So much has transpired in such a short amount of time, I am still trying to wrap my head around all of it. First off, HELLO COVER! What?! Yes. This happened. Hailey & Jonah were brought to life- which was absolutely surreal for me. I wish I could explain how it felt, but I assure you, there are no words…

So, what is Reckless all about? Well, it’s a love story. But it’s also more. It’s about life, making decisions, suffering consequences,  fighting for what you want and honor. Trying to find the right genre for Reckless has probably been the toughest task of all- because it literally fits into several. So, to give you an idea, these genres apply: New Adult, Young Adult, Romance, Drama and Paranormal/Fantasy. Yeah. I told you it was complicated.

I beg of you, please don’t let the Paranormal/Fantasy scare or discourage you. Because more than anything, Reckless is a New Adult Romance. And for the record, there are NO vampires, werewolves or aliens in this book. I promise.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the New Adult genre, don’t be surprised, as it is only a few years old. In a nutshell, New Adult is post-high school, typically with characters between the ages of 18-25. While Young Adult is about coming of age, New Adult is generally about, well, being a new adult and experiencing all of those awesome, scary, crazy, fun moments that life throws your way.
