INTRODUCING DEMI, TEAM 22 SENIOR MODEL
The Class of 2022 is very near and dear to my heart because I am a mama of a soon-to-be-graduate. But, that’s a post for another day. ;) Today I am so excited to share a sneak peek from one of the mini shoots I had with my amazing Team 22 Senior Model, Demi! This really is the perfect day to share her session, since it also happens to be her birthday!! Happy Birthday, Demi!
I met Demi when she was in the third grade. We were at a Meet the Teacher event. My son, Cole, was in the same class as her. Funny enough, I knew her mom, Leslie, from years back, before either of us had children. We worked at a salon together back in 2001. At this time, I thought I wanted to be a hairstylist. I was in beauty school and working as a receptionist, and Leslie was newly graduated and just starting her career. The last time I had seen her was when we were both pregnant and no longer working at the salon.
Demi & Cole were quick buddies! I love that nearly a decade later, they are still friends! Having Demi on my senior model team has been such an incredible experience. Over the years, I’ve watched her grow into the beautiful, talented, and amazing young woman that she is today. More than that, I now get to celebrate this exciting time in her life! My clients always take my breath away and amaze me! But this year is elevated to a whole new level because I really know them. I love that!! This is an emotional year, friends! And I mean that in a good way because I am so, so excited for this crew (and so very attached)!!
I have so much more to say, but I am going to leave some of that for her senior blog post, which will be shared soon! In the meantime, I’m so proud to introduce all of you to Demi, an official Team 22 Senior Model Crew member!
