Urban Senior portrait session in Downtown Eugene
Happy New Year to you all! This is the first official blog post of 2022! It’s crazy to think that I have over 15 years of sessions posted on this little blog of mine. I love it! Today I am so excited to share Sierra’s urban senior session that we took in Downtown Eugene. It’s no secret, I’m a girl who loves all of the natural beauty that Oregon has to offer. The lush greenery, flowing rivers, and endless breathtaking scenery at every turn. But, to be totally honest, I also love the vibrant colors, textures, and bold backdrops that urban locations offer, too. Over the past year, I have made it a point to try and shoot in more urban environments.
For Sierra’s session, we decided to explore some new areas that I hadn’t ever shot in before. Since her session, I’ve had the opportunity to go back to it for shoots several times, which has been so fun! Some of the buildings were brand new developments, while others have been around for decades. I think this is one of the things that I love about this type of environment– the mix of old and new.
