This past weekend I watched one of the only award shows I actually tune-in to every year, The MTV Movie Awards. I absolutely LOVE it because I feel like it is the only time celebrities can let their hair down, have fun and not be worried about being perfectly poised and proper. The MTV Movie Awards also tend to give awards to movies I actually watch- not the foreign masterpieces that leave me scratching my head. MTV is a little more my taste and speed. :)
This year, MTV gave out their first ever Trailblazer Award to the AMAZING Emma Stone. Emma is one of my favorite actresses, starring in some of my favorite movies: Easy A, The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Her acceptance speech was so heartfelt and moving, she absolutely nailed it. And I was left feeling inspired and even more smitten with this incredible young woman. If you didn’t get to see her acceptance speech, please see below.
